Wellbeing Retreats

Pickwell Manor is set in a spectacular coastal location in North Devon, Pickwell Manor offers groups a space for connection, mindful nourishment, and spacious time together support true, lasting wellbeing.

Why Groups Choose Pickwell Manor

Perfect setting for calm and restorative stays

  • Peaceful, inspiring coastal setting that naturally supports relaxation, focus, and personal renewal.

  • A calm, unhurried rhythm

  • Designed for retreats that combine movement and reflection, whether yoga immersions, surf‑and‑stretch weekends, wellness circles, or holistic healing gatherings.

  • Beautiful interiors and restorative natural surroundings that spark ideas, nurture creativity, and encourage mindful focus.

When you host your wellbeing retreat at Pickwell Manor, the main house becomes your sanctuary for the weekend. Affinity and Bliss, along with the light‑filled Ballroom and cosy Snug, form the heart of the retreat space and are always included with group bookings. This gives you exclusive use of the entire main house—perfect for creating a nurturing and private environment for your guests.

For larger retreat groups, additional accommodation in Grace and the Chapel can be added, allowing you to comfortably host up to 27 guests. The layout offers an ideal balance: it brings everyone together with ease, while still providing personal rooms and calm corners where guests can rest, reflect, and unwind.

At the centre of the house is the Ballroom—an uplifting, 45‑foot space filled with natural light. Its serene atmosphere makes it a beautiful setting for yoga sessions, meditation circles, workshops, shared meals, or simple stillness. A comfortable lounge area and log fire at one end create a warm, grounding place for your group to gather at the end of the day.

Beside it, the Snug serves as a communal kitchen space designed for connection—whether preparing nourishing food together, making tea between sessions, or simply drifting in and out throughout the day. These spaces work harmoniously to support the flow of a wellbeing retreat, offering room to gather, room to breathe, and a natural sense of togetherness.

We recently held a retreat at Pickwell Manor, bringing together around 20 changemakers for several days of reflection, connection and renewal. The setting could not have been more perfect. Pickwell Manor offered our group a real sense of retreat. The house itself is stunning and full of character, surrounded by beautiful countryside and incredible views that created a feeling of calm from the moment we arrived. What made the experience especially memorable was the care and attentiveness of the Pickwell Manor team. From the planning stages through to the retreat itself, they could not have done more to support us and make our group feel genuinely welcome.”. Tatiana Ashoka UK & Ireland, 2026
